CONTEXT:
Publisher Version 2.5.7, but first noticed in 2.5.6
Windows 10 Home, 22H2, OS Build 19045.5247, Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.19060.1000.0
Processor    Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-6700K CPU @ 4.00GHz   4.00 GHz
Installed RAM    16.0 GB
System type    64-bit operating system, x64-based processor
Panels already open at program launch are Assets, Colour, Find & Replace, History, Navigator, Pages, Preflight, References | Table of Contents, Stock, Stroke, Swatches, Transform

RECIPE:
* Open an instance of Publisher.
* Create new blank document (size doesn't seem to be a factor).
* From top level menu, select Window | Table | Table.

WHAT HAPPENS:
* Publisher immediately crashes, and completely disappears.

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS:
* The issue arose while I was happily using 2.5.6 with no problems. I am not aware of any specific change or action I took to cause this.
* Crashes also happen with some non-selected options in that menu, if I try to open them, but not all.
* Dump attached.

Suggestions please?   Thanks.

Hi @Mike Brett,

I'm not seeing a crash on Windows 10 when following your steps with the same panels open... Hopefully, some other users can test to see if they get the same crash as you're experiencing...

You might try this:

  1. Save you studio setup as a preset if you haven't done so already so you can get back to it
  2. Then choose Window > Studio > Reset Studio
  3. Then choose the Window > Table > Table and see if it works - if so, you'll want to rebuild your studio setup the way you had it before and then save this as your new master preset and delete that backup one with the bad Table panel value

Good luck

Thanks for your testing, Hangman!   And MikeTO, thank you - that studio reset indeed solved the problem.

(and while you're reading this MikeTO, I'd like to add my thanks to all the others for your monumentally useful and clear PDF guide........)
