  1. Thank you both very much. I had tried this but it didn't work at the time because I was not allowing time for my currently sick old machine to do the job. I've now tried it again slightly more slowly and yes it works for me too. Thanks again & best wishes - Mike -
  2. When you drag a master page from the master pages panel onto a page icon in the pages panel, the default action is that any exisitng applied masters are replaced by the newly added one. Is there any way please to change this such that the new master page is simply added to those already applied to the page? I like the drag facility, much quicker than right clicking on the page icon and Apply Master. Thanks
  3. Thanks for your testing, Hangman! And MikeTO, thank you - that studio reset indeed solved the problem. Cheers - Mike - (and while you're reading this MikeTO, I'd like to add my thanks to all the others for your monumentally useful and clear PDF guide........)
  4. CONTEXT: Publisher Version 2.5.7, but first noticed in 2.5.6 Windows 10 Home, 22H2, OS Build 19045.5247, Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.19060.1000.0 Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-6700K CPU @ 4.00GHz 4.00 GHz Installed RAM 16.0 GB System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor Panels already open at program launch are Assets, Colour, Find & Replace, History, Navigator, Pages, Preflight, References | Table of Contents, Stock, Stroke, Swatches, Transform RECIPE: * Open an instance of Publisher. * Create new blank document (size doesn't seem to be a factor). * From top level menu, select Window | Table | Table. WHAT HAPPENS: * Publisher immediately crashes, and completely disappears. ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: * The issue arose while I was happily using 2.5.6 with no problems. I am not aware of any specific change or action I took to cause this. * Crashes also happen with some non-selected options in that menu, if I try to open them, but not all. * Dump attached. Suggestions please? Thanks. - Mike Brett - 0c6b65b6-740a-4397-80ff-c2068b99c995.dmp
  5. I find myself wanting to link the same footnote to several places in the main text. Can this already be done, and if so, how please? If not, please could you consider this addition for the future. Thanks - Mike -
  6. Perfect - thank you for your help. And thank for your welcome to these Forums, which are new to me, but I am a (very) long-time PagePlus user! - Mike -
  7. Recipe: Created 4 page booklet, and ticked facing pages in set up. Placed a photo right across the centre spread (pp2-3). Back to Document setup, and unticked 'facing pages' because my print partner wanted a single pages PDF export. What I expected to see: My photo divided, half on pp2 and half on pp3. What actually happened: pp2 was blank, but pp3 had the correct half photo on it. QUESTION Should this have worked as I expected, or was my request "illegal" please? Thanks. - Mike -
