Colin Red Posted December 13, 2024 Posted December 13, 2024 When we refer to jpeg, it is an abbreviation for "Joint Photographic Experts Group" When I add a jpeg image to a website I use .jpg in the html markup for the reason that html markup is done in lowercase to be consistent and using jpg uses less characters. When exporting from the Affinity apps using jpg as the output the options are all in uppercase as in JPEG or PNG When exporting out the option to change the name of the file is available but the extension is .jpg Perhaps a nitpick but how about some consistency ronnyb 1 Quote
