Open Grafica Posted December 12, 2024 Posted December 12, 2024 Good morning, I've been banging my head for several hours against this problem, I created a file for a Christmas card in Publisher 2, 200x90mm format with 3mm of bleed, now I export the PDF including the bleed, and automatically at the end of the export the PDF is opened in Acrobat and appears with registration marks, color bars, all ok the problem occurs when I insert the PDF file using the image rectangle tool, I create a 206x96mm rectangle considering the 3mm of perimeter bleed, now the PDF file is imported correctly but without the registration marks, which I need to have, I can't understand why the registration marks are present in the PDF but if I import the file I only see the live graphics without the reference indicators can someone help me solve this problem? I'm sure it's a silly thing but I've been banging my head against it for several hours and I need to solve it as soon as possible, I'm attaching images of the document settings where you can see the format, the file exported to PDF with crosses, and the file where the PDF is imported without registers, thanks. Hangman Posted December 12, 2024 Posted December 12, 2024 Hi @Open Grafica and welcome to the forums, There shouldn't be any need to place the PDF inside a Picture Frame but if you do wish to do so ensure the Picture Frame is 221.6 mm x 111.5 mm if only including crop marks or 223.7 mm x 126.2 mm if including all printer's marks. Then set the Picture Frame Properties to None so the PDF isn't scaled when you add it to the Picture Frame... In both cases, select the PDF (not the Picture Frame) and change the Page Box from the default TrimBox to CropBox in the context toolbar...
