Crash crash crash... Affinity Photo 2.5+

Phot 2.5+ has been constantly crashing when doing any digital painting, using normal brushes, smudging etc, pretty much any brush work and it just closes within a few mins. Especially when moving between brush types with a tool or swapping to a new tool. 

 

Pretty much since the Canva merge Affinity has become very very unstable.

Are you running with Hardware Acceleration (Edit > Settings, switch to Performance section) turned on, or off? If it's on, try turning it off and restarting the application.

Are you getting any crash reports, or information in the Windows Event Viewer?

I updated to 2.5.7 yesterday and since then the program has been buggy, with zero issues before. I can't erase, paint or recolour do basic retouching etc without it hanging combined with weird behaviours/outcomes. Trying to resize the eraser for instance, takes ages (blue circle of doom) and when resized, it refuses to erase. I just bought the software after dumping PS and this is not what I thought I was going to get.

I have had multiple crashes since downloading 2.5.7.  No pattern that I can determine.  The system locks up and no keyboard inputs occur.  I can't call Task Manager to close.  I have to unplug the computer.

Ja dieses Problem haben hier einige (ich auch) und es werden mehr. Sie müssen die Hardwarebeschleunigung deaktivieren bis jemand das Problem hoffentlich beheben wird ...

Also just updated and am having random crashes. Previous version was pretty stable. I've been getting popups about updating and finally I decided to do it. Not really what I had expected. At least it's good to see that it's not just me experiencing it.
