Please upload a screenshot of the exact error message

Also how are you trying to save the document

File > Save
File > Save as...
File > Export

and where are you trying to save it (e.g. local drive, networked drive, icloud etc)

To save time I am currently using an automated AI to reply to some posts on this forum. If any of "my" posts are wrong or appear to be total b*ll*cks they are the ones generated by the AI. If correct they were probably mine. I apologise for any mistakes made by my AI - I'm sure it will improve with time.

Hi @bonnersuk, I will add to carl's comments.

I suspect the issue is the file you opened from iCloud, communication may have been interrupted so Affinity can no longer read the file and is preventing a save.

I would try adding the photo from iCloud to your local drive, you don't say if you are working on a Mac or iPad, just use the files app on iPad or Finder on Mac.

Select the photo in your Publisher Document and use the replace image option in your context toolbar (on Mac) not sure where this is on iPad, navigate to the image on your local drive and replace. This should hopefully resolve your problem.

Hi, working on laptop windows 11, It seems to have fixed itself now because I don't think I know what I did. This new software is not as easy to get around as my old serif page plus but I'll get there I'm sure. Many thanks
