The outer shadow feature of the current version has an area of improvement. first of all it should be like a tool (as like transparency tool, brush tool, or any other tool in the software). In addition to this the shadow created by the outer shadow is not look realistic, it more looks like a replica of an object or image - but in black color. (like after increasing the offset of the shadow, the part of the shadow leave it's parent object or image - can refer to the shadow option in canva or coreldraw graphic suit.). In image the, shadow looks a bit abnormal. you can see in the attached file the shadow of the object loose it's parent layer and doesn't look realistic.

Yes, that is what it is.  An offset, darkened copy of the shape.

For a "realistic" shadow you would need a 3D model to work with, and the Affinity apps do not have 3D support.

From the image you provided, it looks like the shadow is "offset" from the object by the outer glow effect - this will of course always look unrealistic. At the same time, try to set a more appropriate ratio between intensity and opacity. It is also important how the object has its background removed correctly/realistically, because all artifacts will be visible in the shadow.
