s-mur Posted December 3, 2024 Posted December 3, 2024 The question is about Publisher 2. I'd like to create a document that results in a pdf containing 5 single pages. In the background of the 5 pages has to be a large picture, spreading seamlessly over all the pages. What would be the best practice procedure for this? Can it only be done by creating one big page and later on "printing to pdf"? Is there a way to avoid "printing" but using the build in "export to pdf"? Thanks to everyone for reading .. ever more for any suggestions. s-mur Quote

thomaso Posted December 5, 2024 Posted December 5, 2024 If you don't want to use the beta you can do it in earlier versions with a few more steps: 1. Place the image on the first page (top left corner at X coordinate = 0) 2. Scale it to make its width = 5x page width (adjust its Y position as wanted) 3. Duplicate the page (or copy/paste its layer) 3. Move the image by the page width to the left (i.e. enter in the Transform Panel's X field "– yz" with yz = your page width) 4. Repeat for page 3-5.
