Text cursor jumps when using input boxes for different control panels

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

let me try to explain this bug in a way that makes sense. For example:

1- I want to change the document canvas size.

2- I press CMD+ALT+C and the dialog box appears:

I placed the cursor in between the 4 and 0 because I want to delete 4 and input 5.

3- Once I press the delete key, the cursor jumps a space. Instead of appearing between the 2 and the 0 it goes and jumps in between both 2s.

4- Not having notice I quickly press the 5 and I end getting this.

I have experienced this issue in other input boxes too, but right now this is the easiest to reproduce.

This was a bug already in V1. So not sure if it's being ignored, no one noticed, or alternatively it's an expected behaviour that I fail to understand.

That sounds familiar. Do you have a pointer to any previous discussions you may have found about this?
