SidPas Posted October 13, 2024 Posted October 13, 2024 Hi Affinity team. The more I use your Suite of programs the more I like them. That's why I take the time to make feature requests, with gratitude and a desire to make the experience better for all of us who use your apps. So, I came across what I thought was an odd situation. In Affinity Designer, adjustments layers > black and white > there is no "add custom adjustment" button. But in Affinity Photo, there is. Request # 1. please make all Adjustment Layer pallets have the ability to save a custom preset, on all Affinity programs. Request # 2. Then, please allow those custom presets to be seen and or selected within the pallets again in the future. I had a hard time finding a preset I had saved in Affinity Photo. Turns out it was only visible once I clicked, Window > Adjustment, and then a new pallet appeared, and within the Black and White a series of small icons showed the custom preset I had made. This seems un-intuitive, to have to go to another pallet to find what you did elsewhere. It would be very nice to have access to the previously created, and saved custom presets within the original Adjustment Layers where they were created. Request # 3. Please allow all Affinity programs to see the custom presets that were created in any program. So, if I create a Black and White custom preset in the Adjustments Layers within Affinity Photo, I would love to have access to that same preset in the Adjustments Layers of Affinity Designer. Basically, if the same Adjustment Layer is available in different Affinity programs, it would be great to create, save, and access those custom presets in all programs. After we spend time finding that sweet spot for a new preset, then save it, it would be great to not have to do the work all over again in a different program, or have to open the old program, open the Adjustment Layer, go look at the numbers / dials / sliders, and copy the info into the other program. Thank you kindly for taking the time to read and consider this time saving request. Best wishes, Sid Quote

If you're talking about what I think you are, in Photo there is an Adjustments Panel, which is where the Presets are displayed. Designer doesn't have a separate Adjustments Panel, so, if you could save them, there's nowhere for them to be displayed or selected. (If this isn't what you mean, perhaps you could post a screen grab to show the dialogue you're referring to.)
