Hi everyone,

Is it possible to import some brushes made with Affinity Designer in Mac to Windows Beta? I think is possible but maybe it's bugged right now. I don't know.

Thanks Affinity for your great work. We are here to help together.

Marc.

on my tests importing afbrushes worked even when they where made on a mac.

the smoke brush appears to be from this thread here? (2014)

my guess is, it was made with a fairly old version and thus it is incompatible.

*Edit, it gives the same error but only when you are in the Vector Persona.
so the .afbrush in the above link is importing when you are in the Pixel Persona.

Edit2: painting with those Smoke Brushes is impossible thou.

Edit3; the error which ColicDusty has, comes up even for the newer brushes.

whenever you try to load up an .afbrush which is meant for either the pixel or vector persona and you are in the wrong persona mode, the error pops up.

when you switch the persona to the right one, you can see that it got loaded up even after the error message. appeared.

The warning that there was an error loading up the Brushes could have its purpose as an Assistant message like; this brush only works in the vector/pixel persona.

when you switch the persona to the right one, you can see that it got loaded up even with the error message.
