Recommended Posts

I haven't seen anything suggesting that's possible, so I don't think it is

Has anyone found a shortcut key combo, or option to allow for only one side of a node pair to be moved when using the stroke width tool.

According to the help topic these points are used to adjust the pressure profile of the curve along its nodes, so they are not actually themselves nodes, paired or otherwise.

Thus, I think @walt.farrell is right & it is not possible to do what you want.

Thanks. I had tried everything I could think of, so I was pretty sure I could not do what I was hoping, although I think that it would be great if it could work as I described. I have had occasion to require that many times.

I guess handles could have been a better term, but I didn't think of that at the time. I agree, that what I was hoping for is not possible as the tool stands now.
