jinnyjinny
Hi, there. I tried to make this image on Affinity Designer. Inside of dog head shape is empty, so I can see the background color. But I don't know how to make these kind of images. Geometry -> Xor won't work what I expected. I appreciate somebody help me to solve this problem. iconoclast
Hi Jinnyjinny! Place the dog head on top, select both shapes and try "Geometry - "Subtract". If this doesn't work, probably the dog head shape is not closed.

Alternatively, a Compound boolean (with Alt/Option key) that allows subsequent modification of shapes. P.S. If you don't mind rasterization during export, you can use Blend Mode = Erase.
