Hangman
Hi @Iztok, If your images are embedded (rather than linked) they won't appear in the Images folder when saving as an .afpackage file... This is not a bug but expected behaviour... If you wish to test it, change the png files so they're linked in your document then re-save your file as a package and you should find the png files sitting in the Images folder... Iztok
I have preveious document linked, so when I create new document, settings change to embed. I think this option should be in preferences. I always and I think most people work with linked pictures, so I need to be careful whenever I create new document. Not good for prof. users. You can create and use New Document Presets that have Prefer Linked set, or use New Document Templates that have Prefer Linked set. You don't have to use the defaults tha Serif has provided. The setting for a New Document is always based on the initial setting used for the previous New Document set in the New Document Panel... This means that: If under New Document you set Prefer Embedded when you Quit Publisher, relaunch and create another New Document it will default to Prefer Embedded... If under New Document you set Prefer Linked when you Quit Publisher, relaunch and create another New Document it will default to Prefer Linked... If under New Document you set Prefer Embedded then later change the Document Setup to Prefer Linked when you Quit Publisher, relaunch and create another New Document it will default to Prefer Embedded... If under New Document you set Prefer Linked then later change the Document Setup to Prefer Embedded when you Quit Publisher, relaunch and create another New Document it will default to Prefer Linked... Perhaps it would make more sense if the setting remained sticky using the last option set for all instances...
