Mr Sinister Posted August 20, 2024 Posted August 20, 2024 MacBook Pro M1 16GB OS14.6.1 Beta 2.5.5 i’m getting some strange results when exporting AD file to PDF. I have found a workaround, but I’d like some clarification as to whether I’m using warp groups / PDFs incorrectly, or this is a bug? Have attached 2 screen-grabs. The top one is the AD file, showing the warp group. The white ‘teeth’ rectangle is nested inside the black ‘mouth’ rectangle. The perspective warp group has shifted the anchor points of the white rectangle (is this how it should be? If so, it can make amending shapes a bit tricky?) When exporting to PDF this shape has shifted (lower screen-grab). There are multiple examples of this in my AD file, but they all follow the same pattern: perspective warp group, shape nested inside another, shape moves in export. My workaround is to ‘unnest’ the shape, & amend it to fit. This seems - so far - to be working. Cheers. M. Quote

Try selecting the Warp Group and using Convert to Curves on it before you export. Perhaps save a copyof the Designer document first, name it Whatever converted to curves.afdesign. This way you can go back to the Whatever document to continue working. I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.
Staff Pauls Posted August 28, 2024 Staff Posted August 28, 2024 @Mr Sinister Could we get a copy of your file please to investigate Quote
Staff Pauls Posted August 28, 2024 Staff Posted August 28, 2024 Also are you not getting the problem in a non-beta version? Quote
