I've downloaded The Expert Guide to Publsher and tried to work out how to flow text from one page to another. The guide makes it very complicated (for me at least!). I tried to follow the instructions but it doesn't work for me.

Is there a simple way of doing it please?

We'll need to know more about your document.

Are you using Master Pages, or not. Are you using Facing Pages, or not?

Are you starting with a new document, or Opening some existing document (and if so, what kind of document)?

Here's a quick screen recording showing how to link and unlink text frames but you can probably find a video tutorial on it. Ensure View > Show Text Flow is enabled so you can see what you're doing. Also, you may find that going to Settings > Tools and setting Tool Handle Size to Large makes it easier to see the linking controls.

Make TO, thanks for this. After a few dead ends I managed to flow text over three pages. Is there no easier way to doing it?

On Indesign I could do it by holding the shift key when placing text.

I'm sure I will be back for more advice!

In Affinity you can place/paste the text into the text frame on the first page, then Shift-Click the text-flow triangle to get the required number of pages auto-created + auto-created text frames + auto-created text flow. Whereas an Option-Click causes just 1 next page + text frame + text flow.
