Staff MEB Posted June 28, 2016 Staff Share Posted June 28, 2016 Hi gsall, Welcome to Affinity Forums :) Currently there's no way to choose another point as the center of the Vignette. You may want to try the method described here for more control. Quote A Guide to Learning Affinity Software
gsall
Thanks for the answer, but I have to uninstall it the App. To have control over my Vignette is important and must be done easy.
Staff MEB Posted June 29, 2016 Staff Share Posted June 29, 2016 Hi gsall, The method i pointed out is not complicate. Affinity Photo is quite recent compared to other applications on the market and as such not all possible features/options are available from the beginning. We are working as fast as we can to close those gaps. Affinity Photo 1.5 will include considerable improvements and new features. I advise you to place a request for the improvements you find necessary to the Vignette filter in the Feature Requests section so they can be considered for a future update ^_^ Quote A Guide to Learning Affinity Software
R C-R
Thanks for the answer, but I have to uninstall it the App. To have control over my Vignette is important and must be done easy. Not sure why you would want to uninstall the app, but if you want an easy-to-use Vignette filter you might check out installing the now free Nik collection. The Analog Efex Pro 2 plugin has a Vignette filter with an adjustable center point. Note that because (unlike the very powerful & flexible 'Power Vignette' method) it is a destructive filter, you would probably want to apply it to a duplicate of your image, save the history with the file, or make snapshots so you can redo it later on the original if needed. Alternately, because the collection includes a standalone app version of he Analog Efex Pro 2 filters, you could run that independently of Affinity on an exported copy of your file.
