Designer Text/Font Issue: Blue squares instead of space; double s icon on far right

Title says all. This appears with both artistic text and frame text tool. I have restarted the program and both times it has come up. Help me get rid of this please.

Uncheck: Menu > Text > Show Special Characters if you don't want to see them.

They are just visual representations on screen of spaces and end of text, they are not printed.

But note that if you stop them from displaying, and you want to report any issues related to text layout, we may ask you to enable that option again so we can see exactly what characters you have
