This is for AD2 latest release on 2019 iPad running latest iPadOS.

I really like the Stroke Width Tool.  It’s easy to add Pressure Points and change width anywhere along a curve, but the only way I have found to remove a Pressure Point is to identify the associated node on the Pressure Graph in the Stroke Panel, select it, and then delete it.  The problem with this is that Pressure Points/nodes can be so close together on the Pressure Graph it’s impractical.  The Stroke Width Tool does not appear to offer a delete function.

You can expose the Pressure Point you want to delete by choosing it with the Stroke Width Tool, and changing it size (up or down) dramatically, and then delete the node in the Stroke Panel.  But that can have undesirable consequences on the Pressure Graph because it gets re-scaled.  Trying to correct it by moving the nodes changes the Stroke Width - unintentionally.

Is there another way?

@DWright  Thanks for the feedback.

Not sure I follow.  Stroke Width Tool can place one of its nodes anywhere on a curve, they do not necessarily have to coincide with the nodes that the Node Tool can edit.  I just tried this, and don’t understand how your suggestion helps.  With the new and very much smarter Pencil Tool there are far fewer (Node Tool) nodes too….

I’m trying to delete a node placed by the Stroke Width Tool, not the Node Tool, and I expect that edit will usually change the stroke width at the point of removal.

With the Stroke Width Tool selected, double tap a stroke width node to delete it.
