Giourmen
RPReplay_Final1717987217.mov RPReplay_Final1717987266.mov Hello, I personally clarify that I like the program, and I am having serious problems with my clients when exporting editable files in the photoshop .psd format. What happens is that when the files are exported to .psd in Affinity it converts the text layers to pixel layers making it impossible to edit the pixels. There is even an option in the configuration section (settings) that supposedly allows you to keep the text layers in text format and not convert them into a pixel layer, but unfortunately this option in settings does not work despite activating it. If you can repair it wholeheartedly I would appreciate it very much and I would put five stars again because the program itself is very good for me but lately it is necessary for it to be more adaptable with the other programs and it is harmful when it comes to working. Thank you for responding to this message! RPReplay_Final1717987217.mov RPReplay_Final1717987266.mov
Alfred
Welcome to the Serif Affinity Forums, @Giourmen. 2 hours ago, Giourmen said: There is a new serious error The inability to keep text as editable text when exporting to PSD is not new, and it isn’t a bug. The PSD format is yet to be fully deciphered by the developers of the Affinity apps. 2 hours ago, Giourmen said: There is even an option in the configuration section (settings) that supposedly allows you to keep the text layers in text format and not convert them into a pixel layer, but unfortunately this option in settings does not work despite activating it. That option relates to import, not export. Giourmen
Hi Alfred, thanks for explaining me better how those things work!, I hope we would enjoy export in that way soon, it could be great!! Alfred
walt.farrell
It is unlikely to change any time soon. But I agree it would be nice. If your clients need PSD files with editable text, you should use a different application.
