Affinity Rat Posted June 8, 2024 Posted June 8, 2024 Whenever I click on jpg image in ipad file manager it now opens the file in Affinity Photo instead of Quicklook. In researching this I found that Quicklook is part of IOS and not configurable, but apps can highjack an association. Deleting the app allows Quicklook to work again. I dont want to delete the app, but also dont want Affinity Photo highjacking the jpg extension, please break the association. If I want to open the jpg from file manager in Affinity easy enough to share which will open it in Affinity Photo, leave Quicklook alone. Quote
Alfred Posted June 8, 2024 Posted June 8, 2024 I don’t think anything has changed since your previous thread about this. Quote Alfred Affinity Designer/Photo/Publisher 2 for Windows • Windows 10 Home/Pro Affinity Designer/Photo/Publisher 2 for iPad • iPadOS 17.5.1 (iPad 7th gen)
Affinity Rat Posted June 8, 2024 Author Posted June 8, 2024 Yeah, prolly right, but you know when someone ignores you, you are obligated to repeat yourself only LOUDER. A technique I learn from traveling to foreign countries. 😊 Quote
