This is marked as fixed in the 2463 Beta...

  • Hyperlinks within Footnotes/Endnotes imported from MS Word/Google Docs not importing correctly AF-2962

I get an instant crash when placing a Word Document into the Publisher 2463 Beta that contains hyperlinks in its Foot or Endnotes...

In 2.4.2 placing the Word file doesn't crash Publisher and the file opens without issue in Apple Pages...

Hi @MEB,

This does appear to be working correctly in the 2463 Beta but there is a specific scenario where .docx files are causing the crash in the current Beta which is when .docx files are downloaded from Word Online. They crash the 2463 Beta regardless of whether they have hyperlinked Foot and Endnotes but are fine in the 2.4.2 Retail version.

Files Saved directly from Word 365 are working without issue...
