_koyeko_ Posted May 6, 2024 Posted May 6, 2024 Hello I have a problem with the exports on Affinity Publisher When I try to export my project, everything starts normally but then stops at around 30%. I found a workaround that implies rasterizing everything manually before doing the export but this doesn't seem viable for bigger projects. Even multiple reinstallations did not solve the issue and I can't find any solution online. Thanks in advance Quote

Where are you trying to export your project to (locally, to a cloud service, somewhere else)? What filetype(s) are you trying to export your project to? Are all the items in your project embedded, or if some are linked, are they all stored locally? Feel free to include anything else you can tell us that might be relevant. _koyeko_ Posted May 7, 2024 Author Posted May 7, 2024 Hi ! I'm trying to export it locally as a pdf. All the ressources are locally linked as they are too heavy to be embedded and are either pdf or image format. Another thing is that everything worked before as I already had exported files without a problem. In that case, the document is multiple pages long, could it be a hint to the source of the problem ? Staff stokerg Posted May 8, 2024 Staff Posted May 8, 2024 Hi @_koyeko_, You could try enabling PDF logging as outlined on this post and attach the log. In theory, the last thing in the log may help us narrow down the issue to a page. If you'd like me to look into this, can you try creating a package of your file and uploading it to our Dropbox. To do this, first create an Empty Folder on your desktop and then in Publisher, open your file and click File>Save As Package and make sure Include Fonts and Include images are enabled, then click okay and point Publisher to the empty folder on your desktop. If you can then zip that folder up and upload it to our Dropbox here i'll try exporting it here. Quote
Paul Mc Posted May 8, 2024 Posted May 8, 2024 I had a problem recently where the progress bar locked up at a similar position. However the file was written successfully in spite of the gauge not reaching 100% (I can't remember what the position was, sorry). Switching windows to another app and then back again to AP allowed me to close the progress bar window and resume work. This happened several times. Is AP locking up when you see the progress bar stop? Maybe check if the output file has been created? Quote
_koyeko_ Posted May 14, 2024 Author Posted May 14, 2024 Hi! Thank you all for trying to answer. The problem seems to have fixed itself as everything now work normally. I don't have any answer for people who could encounter the same issue however. Paul Mc 1 Quote
