davidj1 Posted April 27, 2024 Posted April 27, 2024 Hello, Recently I have discovered odd behavior with V2 on iPad. When I use the inpainting brush the area that I selected is highlighted then it appears that the app is working then the highlighting disappears and nothing has been removed. Is this a bug in the app? JSYK I am using a pixel layer for the inpainting. Thanks much! Dave Quote
Staff Lee D Posted April 29, 2024 Staff Posted April 29, 2024 @davidj1 Thanks for your feedback. Does this happen regardless of the images you're using the tool on? Could you do a screen recording showing this occur? Can you also confirm your iPad model and iPadOS version, just in case. Quote
davidj1 Posted April 29, 2024 Author Posted April 29, 2024 Yes, it happens regardless of image used. Recording example is attached. iPad Pro (11-inch) (3rd generation) iPadOS 17.4.1 (21E236) Thanks much! Dave RPReplay_Final1714389090.mp4 Quote
walt.farrell Posted April 29, 2024 Posted April 29, 2024 It would be helpful to see the Layers panel. Can you give a screenshot of that for the file used in that recording? davidj1 Posted April 29, 2024 Author Posted April 29, 2024 I thought that the video would be more helpful; but here is the screenshot. As you see there is only the original Dave AF Layer Screenshot.pdf walt.farrell 1 Quote
walt.farrell Posted April 29, 2024 Posted April 29, 2024 By the way, for screenshots it's best to paste in the JPG or PNG, so it's directly visible. And the video was helpful, just incomplete in some of the details. I have no ideas at the moment. Staff Lee D Posted April 29, 2024 Staff Posted April 29, 2024 @davidj1 If you increase the Accumulation back upto 100% does that make a difference? Quote
davidj1 Posted April 29, 2024 Author Posted April 29, 2024 It seems to only be a problem on my iPad Pro. Quote
davidj1 Posted April 29, 2024 Author Posted April 29, 2024 I have raised Accumulation to 100% as suggested. There was no effect. Problem persists. Quote
Staff Lee D Posted April 30, 2024 Staff Posted April 30, 2024 @davidj1 Have you tried restarting your iPad? You can also try resetting the app. Make sure the app is fully closed, tap the icon to open, when the splash screen appears double tap the screen to show the reset options and then tap Reset. Quote
