The actual afdesign file (maybe reduced to the relevant layers) would really help to reproduce. Any chance you can upload?

Converting the contents of the Warp Group to Curves probably isn’t what you want to do on this occasion as it would set all of the Curves to the same Fill/Stroke as each other.

To check this, Release the Group inside the Warp Group and then use Convert To Curves on that released Group to see what you get.

One possibility, if the Convert To Curves was working better, would be to:

  • ungroup the group inside the Warp Group;
  • duplicate the Warp Group twice;
  • remove the contents of the duplicated Warp Groups;
  • move one Group layer from the original Warp Group to each Warp Group (in the correct display order), leaving one group where it is;
  • use Convert To Curves on each Warp Group.

Unfortunately, currently, this still makes the curves a bit ‘wobbly’, but I don’t know why.

i already tried your suggestions, but results are similar;
i noticed that when exporting in SVG without converting to curve gives a slightly better result , but still not as the preview.
Any Affinity Team Meber on this?

Hi @mannyarts,

This does certainly appear to be unexpected behaviour when converting the mesh warp to curves, particularly as it occurs with the Mesh reset so no warping is applied. I've logged your file with the developers for further investigation.
