You can also create and store your own Luts. But there is a catch here. In version AP1 it worked without problems, in AP2 I have not yet succeeded in using my own Lut. Yes I can load it from the saved local folder, but it does not work.

“does not work” is a too vague for us to have an idea of what the problem could be.

If you can share the LUT, and an image you are using it with, and tell us what you would expect to happen when applying the LUT to the image, we can have a look at them to see if we can find what the problem is.

Thanks for sharing the LUT.

I’ve just tried to apply it to the same image in both Photo V1.10.6 and Photo V2.4.1 and nothing seems to happen.
I tried a very different image, in both, and nothing seemed to happen with that either.
Same in Designer V2.4.1.

Hopefully one of the LUT experts will come along and be able to explain what’s happening.

It's an identity lut which will do nothing. Note that nested adjustment layers are not included when exporting LUT, the adjustments must be above the image layer

Below is a comparison taken at random, mine's on the right

dear, if I have an image, I put a pixel layer on it, fill it with color, reduce it with opacity so I have the desired intensity. export this as a LUT, remove the pixel layer, insert the LUT and it doesn't work ?

Check the Help for "Exporting custom adjustments as LUTs"
Possibly use a Recolour adjustment layer

As David mentioned, you need to use Adjustment layers. That is what the Export LUT process uses.

I have an identical problem with creating a LUT.  LUT's delivered with the program work fine.  Self made LUT's don't change anything.  Tried everything, nothing works.  Exported LUT's don't work.

Welcome to the Affinity forums.

We would need to see a screenshot of your application window when you're creating the LUT, with the Layers panel and the relevant layers visible.

Attached are some screenshots and a copy from the LUT.

Thanks.

I think that might be either AF-1049 or AF-2589.

Hi,

LUT works when the first adjustment layer is on top of the background layer, otherwise the first adjustment layer is not taken into account.

I think that this was my problem with non working LUT's.
