beertje53 Posted April 17, 2024 Posted April 17, 2024 You can also create and store your own Luts. But there is a catch here. In version AP1 it worked without problems, in AP2 I have not yet succeeded in using my own Lut. Yes I can load it from the saved local folder, but it does not work. Quote
GarryP Posted April 17, 2024 Posted April 17, 2024 “does not work” is a too vague for us to have an idea of what the problem could be. If you can share the LUT, and an image you are using it with, and tell us what you would expect to happen when applying the LUT to the image, we can have a look at them to see if we can find what the problem is. beertje53 Posted April 17, 2024 Author Posted April 17, 2024 Try to place these on any photo, you will find that it fails. It does with LUTs I get off the internet. But where it goes wrong I don't know, on AP1 it all works. regards Johan 123.cube Quote
GarryP Posted April 17, 2024 Posted April 17, 2024 Thanks for sharing the LUT. I’ve just tried to apply it to the same image in both Photo V1.10.6 and Photo V2.4.1 and nothing seems to happen. I tried a very different image, in both, and nothing seemed to happen with that either. Same in Designer V2.4.1. Hopefully one of the LUT experts will come along and be able to explain what’s happening. Quote
David in Яuislip Posted April 17, 2024 Posted April 17, 2024 It's an identity lut which will do nothing. Note that nested adjustment layers are not included when exporting LUT, the adjustments must be above the image layer Below is a comparison taken at random, mine's on the right TITLE "12&3" TITLE "Exported LUT" #LUT data points #LUT data points 0.418182 0.072727 0 0.418182 0.072727 0 0.436364 0.072727 0 0.436364 0.072727 0 0.454545 0.072727 0 0.454545 0.072727 0 0.472727 0.072727 0 0.472727 0.072727 0 0.490909 0.072727 0 0.490909 0.072727 0 0.509091 0.072727 0 0.509091 0.072727 0 0.527273 0.072727 0 0.527273 0.072727 0 0.545455 0.072727 0 0.545455 0.072727 0 0.563636 0.072727 0 0.563636 0.072727 0 0.581818 0.072727 0 0.581818 0.072727 0 0.6 0.072727 0 0.6 0.072727 0 0.618182 0.072727 0 0.618182 0.072727 0 0.636364 0.072727 0 0.636364 0.072727 0 0.654545 0.072727 0 0.654545 0.072727 0 0.672727 0.072727 0 0.672727 0.072727 0 0.690909 0.072727 0 0.690909 0.072727 0 0.709091 0.072727 0 0.709091 0.072727 0 0.727273 0.072727 0 0.727273 0.072727 0 0.745455 0.072727 0 0.745455 0.072727 0 0.763636 0.072727 0 0.763636 0.072727 0 0.781818 0.072727 0 0.781818 0.072727 0 0.8 0.072727 0 0.8 0.072727 0 0.818182 0.072727 0 0.818182 0.072727 0 0.836364 0.072727 0 0.836364 0.072727 0 0.854545 0.072727 0 0.854545 0.072727 0 0.872727 0.072727 0 0.872727 0.072727 0 0.890909 0.072727 0 0.890909 0.072727 0 0.909091 0.072727 0 0.909091 0.072727 0 0.927273 0.072727 0 0.927273 0.072727 0 0.945455 0.072727 0 0.945455 0.072727 0 0.963636 0.072727 0 0.963636 0.072727 0 0.981818 0.072727 0 0.981818 0.072727 0 Quote Microsoft Windows 11 Home, Intel i7-1360P 2.20 GHz, 32 GB RAM, 1TB SSD, Intel Iris Xe Affinity Photo - 24/05/20, Affinity Publisher - 06/12/20, KTM Superduke - 27/09/10
beertje53 Posted April 17, 2024 Author Posted April 17, 2024 dear, if I have an image, I put a pixel layer on it, fill it with color, reduce it with opacity so I have the desired intensity. export this as a LUT, remove the pixel layer, insert the LUT and it doesn't work ? Quote

As David mentioned, you need to use Adjustment layers. That is what the Export LUT process uses. RE350 Posted May 26, 2024 Posted May 26, 2024 I have an identical problem with creating a LUT. LUT's delivered with the program work fine. Self made LUT's don't change anything. Tried everything, nothing works. Exported LUT's don't work. Quote

We would need to see a screenshot of your application window when you're creating the LUT, with the Layers panel and the relevant layers visible. RE350 Posted May 27, 2024 Posted May 27, 2024 Hi, LUT works when the first adjustment layer is on top of the background layer, otherwise the first adjustment layer is not taken into account. I think that this was my problem with non working LUT's. b reg walt.farrell 1 Quote
