TracyCul
Hi I don't know if this is a bug or if I'm doing something wrong but would really appreciate help. When I export my file, the text frame boxes are showing/printing. I've opened the Text Frame Panel and the stroke is definitely at 0pt. Any ideas? walt.farrell
Screenshots of the Text Frame in Publisher, and the Text Frame panel, and the Layers panel would help. Also a screenshot of the exported file. And if you can share a .afpub file that has the same problem that would be helpful, too. TracyCul
Hi Walt, thanks so much. Screenshots attached: the first is of Affinity itself, and the second is of the PDF. I changed the stroke colour to pink to try to make the problem worse, and now I'm having trouble changing it back: that's just for info. And AFPUB file attached. GarryP
Your Frame Text layers have a dark Stroke – select a Frame Text layer and look at the Text Frame Panel. Removing that Stroke – click on the colour swatch and press the ‘no entry’ button in the pop-up – should put things right. Note: For fewer surprises, you can (temporarily) put the application in Preview Mode to see the document how it will look when exported. Edited April 16 by GarryP Added note. TracyCul
Thanks Garry, but that doesn't solve it. In fact, when I started I had the 'stroke' crossed out and only added the pink to try to see what the problem was. But now, as per this screenshot, you'll see that I have the stroke X'd out, and the file in preview mode, and it's still showing the text frame boxes. GarryP
I can’t see the screenshot as I don’t want to accept browser stuff from the imgur website. If you want to share a screenshot you can do so directly in the forums as you did earlier. I’ve attached a video showing me turning the Preview Mode ON and then removing the Stroke from a few Frame Text layers. 2024-04-16 13-18-13.mp4 TracyCul

They just show any current stroke setting which doesn't have to be applied to any object. TracyCul
I see that now, and it was a silly mistake. Thank you all for your help and patience.
