Text frame boxes are exporting

Recommended Posts

Hi I don't know if this is a bug or if I'm doing something wrong but would really appreciate help.

When I export my file, the text frame boxes are showing/printing. I've opened the Text Frame Panel and the stroke is definitely at 0pt.

Any ideas?

Screenshots of the Text Frame in Publisher, and the Text Frame panel, and the Layers panel would help. Also a screenshot of the exported file.

And if you can share a .afpub file that has the same problem that would be helpful, too.

Your Frame Text layers have a dark Stroke – select a Frame Text layer and look at the Text Frame Panel.

Removing that Stroke – click on the colour swatch and press the ‘no entry’ button in the pop-up – should put things right.

Note: For fewer surprises, you can (temporarily) put the application in Preview Mode to see the document how it will look when exported.

Thanks Garry, but that doesn't solve it. In fact, when I started I had the 'stroke' crossed out and only added the pink to try to see what the problem was.

But now, as per this screenshot, you'll see that I have the stroke X'd out, and the file in preview mode, and it's still showing the text frame boxes.

In both screenshot no object was selected. They just show any current stroke setting which doesn't have to be applied to any object.
