export of png is dark

hi all

was working on photo a few weeks ago, did not seem to have an issue - bar the ages old, it keeps hanging issue ive had.

I am trying to export a png. each time it comes out dark, like its wearing sunglasses. In my explorer folder its easy to compare the icon images of the afphoto file and the png. the afphoto is bright white, the png looks greyed out.

why might it be? 

as i say, ive had problems with it hanging a lot again today and oddly several times thngs seemed to switch themselves on. for instance when in FX, the emboss kept ticking itself. not sure if its related.

i take it this is the best way to get support?  looked on the website but it only seems to mention here and social media? im sure their used to be a ticket system??

In my experience, yes. Here you have other users as resources for answering many questions, which can mean you get faster answers. 

Can you share one of the .afphoto files, and the corresponding .png file, and tell us the Export settings you used?

Are you perhaps working in 32bit with the Affinity files?

ive attached the files

as i said, some peculiar stuff happened today. ive not touched the setting for ages and not encountered this problem before. 

im on windows 10 

affinity 2.4.1

went off for dinner and a breath and came back to the PC

i just wrote out all the setting etc and thought id have another go

And now its as it should be!  Im stumped still. 

Ill come back to this thread if it goes awry again.

Im in 16 bit but i have meant to look at 32bit - is it troublesome?
