Brian Chan
I'm working with some vector graphics that need to be quite precise. I get the problem when I touch the pencil tip to an object to select it, it immediately drags that object a small amount, because there is indeed a miniscule motion whenever the pencil is tapped. But what I want is for the initial selection action to keep the object in place, and then to move it to require a second action, maybe lifting the pencil first and then dragging, for example. Is there any setting that I could adjust to change this behavior? I'm using Ipad Pro with Apple Pencil. The app is working great so far otherwise. Brian Chan
I'd like to add that this has not been a problem while using the mouse since it is easier to hold the mouse still while clicking on an object.
Alfred
If you move the object while selecting it, that move will be recorded as a separate entry in the History. Two-finger tap anywhere in the workspace to undo. Two methods come to mind that I' m sure you have already used, either select directly in the layers panel or under settings->tools turn on Select Object when Intersects Selection Marqee then click outside the object and drag a selection box across the object like this:- RPReplay_Final1710238976.MP4 walt.farrell and Alfred 2 Quote My dad always told me, a bad workman always blames their tools….
