evabuchaca
Hello everyone, I apologize for my English, I'm French! my problem with Affinity photo is the following, when I put a photo in the software, the photo automatically loses quality . I don't modify anything, I don't change the size, I don't even do any retouching and the quality changes by itself ... I notice that when I drag a photo into the software, the size of the document is not always equal to the size of the photo, but even when I change the size nothing changes and the quality is always lower than the original photo. please help me because this is preventing me from doing my retouching properly Translated with DeepL.com (free version) Edited March 7 by evabuchaca I put tags
Hangman
________________________________________ Hi @evabuchaca and welcome to the forums, Are you able to upload a photo which is causing the quality issue you're seeing? Could you also confirm whether you are on Mac or Windows and where the photo has come from e.g., is it a straight-out-of-camera image or has it been downloaded from the internet? Hangman
Hi @evabuchaca, Thanks for the update... I'm slightly unsure why you would have had the issue with v1 but I'm glad the problem has been resolved for you with v2... Staff Pauls Posted March 7 Staff Share Posted March 7 I think v1 might have been using the thumbnail image rather than extracting the full raw file - v2 has improved raw file handing. Hangman
