I can confirm this seems to be occurring due to the handle for the second node in your Stroke being placed before the first node in the shape. Moving this handle to the other side of the first node allows the shape to be expanded as expected - 2024-03-04 12-29-49.mp4 I'm getting this logged as a bug with our development team now however, as this change should not occur when expanding your shape.
