TeresaPelka Posted February 28, 2024 Posted February 28, 2024 Affinity Designer has the warp capability, but you have to go Menu and File. It would be great to have a shortcut as in Affinity Photo — I don't go there for warps because Photo would mostly rasterize warps, and I prefer to keep the Assistant on (I want to keep vectors, no rasterizing). Compare Photo and Designer for the Tool menus (bars or panels). Quote
Staff MEB Posted February 28, 2024 Staff Posted February 28, 2024 Hi @TeresaPelka, Welcome to Affinity Forums In Designer you also have access to the Warp function by clicking on the respective icon on the bottom of the Layers panel (fourth icon in the center group) near the other live adjustments and FX. In Photo you will find Live Filters there instead as they are more common in raster editing apps/workflows. Quote A Guide to Learning Affinity Software

The icon is placed in the layers panel due to technical logic rather than usability logic, in my opinion. Besides thinking it's a flawed way of designing user interfaces, I can only imagine that a lot of customers completely overlook the functionality. ronnyb 1 Quote I simply no longer believe that there are any professional graphic designers here. Everything follows suit. Just everything.
TeresaPelka Posted March 6, 2024 Author Posted March 6, 2024 Thank you MEB, I overlooked it because of the panel in Photo (I expected it to be the same in Designer, and I use keyboard shortcuts). I hope not to be grumpy, suggesting that Collapse All could have a nice button there too (beside a shortcut). Quote
