Hello there,

sorry in advance if it's not the right place for Version 1 questions, but I'm really on a bad situation.
I'm on Big Sur 11.7.1 and this Publisher 1.10.5 file of 500 Mb got currupted while I was stupidly saving it on the remote office server.
I don't usually work on remote locations, but unfortunately it happened by mistake during a reorganization of the studio's shared folders.
The file is about 300 pages and the "corrupted" message pops up even if I try the import method of "Add Pages from Files".
Please let me know if it can be reopened somehow.
Many thanks,

Kind regards

Thanks for replying. Unfortunately not. No backup also due to a problem with the office one, which was inactive that day. Very bad luck.

Hi Mick,

I have logged this with our developers to see if anything can be done for your file. They are unfortunately very busy so this process can take sometime if the file is time sensitive I would recommend recreating it from scratch.

Thanks
C

I still find it baffling these things still pop up.
One should expect to be able to save a file remotely, disregard where the folder 'lives' on the network/intranet.

I really would like to know what throws a Affinity app off so badly it corrupts the file when saving on a non-local disk... 🙁
