Mick Posted February 21, 2024 Posted February 21, 2024 Hello there, sorry in advance if it's not the right place for Version 1 questions, but I'm really on a bad situation. I'm on Big Sur 11.7.1 and this Publisher 1.10.5 file of 500 Mb got currupted while I was stupidly saving it on the remote office server. I don't usually work on remote locations, but unfortunately it happened by mistake during a reorganization of the studio's shared folders. The file is about 300 pages and the "corrupted" message pops up even if I try the import method of "Add Pages from Files". Please let me know if it can be reopened somehow. Many thanks, Kind regards Catalogo_Essebi_famiglie_unico_file_gennaio_2024.afpub Quote
mopperle Posted February 21, 2024 Posted February 21, 2024 No backup available anywhere? Quote Regards, Otto Affinity Suite v2.6.x - Windows 11 Pro
Mick Posted February 21, 2024 Author Posted February 21, 2024 Thanks for replying. Unfortunately not. No backup also due to a problem with the office one, which was inactive that day. Very bad luck. Quote

Staff Callum Posted February 21, 2024 Staff Posted February 21, 2024 Hi Mick, I have logged this with our developers to see if anything can be done for your file. They are unfortunately very busy so this process can take sometime if the file is time sensitive I would recommend recreating it from scratch. Thanks C Quote Please tag me using @ in your reply so I can be sure to respond ASAP.

RobWu Posted February 22, 2024 Posted February 22, 2024 I still find it baffling these things still pop up. One should expect to be able to save a file remotely, disregard where the folder 'lives' on the network/intranet. I really would like to know what throws a Affinity app off so badly it corrupts the file when saving on a non-local disk... 🙁 Quote Windows 11 - 24H2 ⊕ ASUS PRIME X670E-Pro ⊕ AMD Ryzen 9-7900X ⊕ Arctic Liquid Cooler II ⊕ 64GB RAM ⊕ OS SSD Samsung 980Pro 2Tb ⊕ Cache SSD Samsung 870 EVO 1Tb ⊕ Video HD WD Blue 4Tb ⊕ Geforce RTX 3060 12Gb ⊕ BenQ SW270C ⊕ Dell U2412M ⊕ Affinity Photo 2.5.5 ⊕ Affinity Designer 2.5.5 ⊕ Affinity Publisher 2.5.5
