TGJPN
The pen too is what I use most. When using the pen too over an image, the default (and only color, to my knowledge is BLUE) and sometimes it's just inconvenient. I've searched in the settings but I can't seem to be able to change the bezier curve color to something else (sometimes). About 80% of the time, blue is fine, but that 20% of the time bothers me and makes my work more difficult. If it's possible, how can I change the color? if not, it doesn't seem too difficult of a request.
Hangman
Hi @TGJPN and welcome to the forums, The only way you can change the colour of the Pen Tool's Bezier Curve temporarily is to use a Layer (Capital L) and change the default colour for the Layer. This only applies to Designer and Publisher, not Photo... TGJPN
@Hangman Thank you. Unfortunately, for my purposes, I use Affinity Photo like this: 1. Import an image, duplicate the image. 2. Pen tool to make an outline, mask, 3. Adjust points with the node tool. The blue bezier curve has been a major inconvenience 10% of the time. I appreciate the time you took to answer! Alfred
11 minutes ago, TGJPN said: The blue bezier curve has been a major inconvenience 10% of the time. The blue colour of the Bézier curve only comes into play when the stroke has (near-)zero width or no colour applied. If you widen the stroke and apply a contrasty colour, you’ll lose a little precision when creating the mask outline but you’ll be able to see it at all times. That won’t help you with the node control handles, unfortunately, but you can drag on the nodes and the curve itself to make adjustments.
