Rob Ainscough Posted February 9, 2024 Posted February 9, 2024 Because DNGs are RAW files (well sorta), AF2 will prompts to develop ... fair enough. But it would be nice if the Batch file processing would work with DNG/RAW and just go with a default "develop" and then proceed with the conversion to user's specific type (PNG, JPG, etc.). Any chance this might be added to an update? Cheers, Rob. Quote

Batch jobs can process Raw files (including DNG), and will use a default set of Development parameters (as you requested). Perhaps "a default set" of Development parameters is not what you need? If that's not it, and you're really saying that they can't be used at all in a Batch Job, can you supply a file that doesn't work for you, please? Rob Ainscough Posted February 10, 2024 Author Posted February 10, 2024 Thanks for the input/suggestions ... I discovered my issue ... I needed to select "all documents" when selecting the document type. All good now. Cheers, Rob. walt.farrell 1 Quote
Dan C Posted February 11, 2024 Posted February 11, 2024 Just to confirm, the above is a known bug in v2.3.1 which has been resolved in v2.4 beta - the Batch Job dialog now correctly defaults to 'All Documents' Rob Ainscough and walt.farrell 2 Quote
