karluwe Posted February 6, 2024 Posted February 6, 2024 When I import a PSB without option "PSD Smart objects", the color and brightness is correct, but obviously cannot open the groups. When I import the PSB with "PSD Smart objects" on, I can open the groups, but the color is too dark everywhere. Is this a bug Affinity is not aware of? Does anyone know a solution? Quote

Staff Callum Posted February 7, 2024 Staff Posted February 7, 2024 Hi Karluwe, It looks as though the groups that can't be expanded are actually being imported as an embedded document. If you select them and then via the context tool bar hit edit document are you able to make the necessary edits etc? I believe the colours being off is caused by Layer 19 being at the top of the layer stack in the embedded document if I drag this to the bottom of the stack the colours appear to be better however as I'm not sure how they should look I can't really say if they now look correct. Its quite common for Z order to be effected when importing a PSD/PSB file so I'd imagine this layer being positioned incorrectly is the likely cause for this. karluwe Posted February 7, 2024 Author Posted February 7, 2024 Hi @Callum Thanks. I think it is on each layer of the people because everything else has the same color and brightness. So Im going to each layer and adjust manually. I thought I read that PS smart filters are proprietary to Adobe hence wont be exported, but ignored. So I have to add these filters manually in Affinity. k Quote
karluwe Posted February 7, 2024 Author Posted February 7, 2024 @CallumThese smaert filters aren't exported .. Quote
