Simultaneous usage of 1 license on 2 or more devices

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I'm sorry if the question was already answered, but I wasn't able to find it if that was the case.

I'm looking to purchase the Universal License (V2) for my home (myself + my daughter who wants to learn how to design things). She has an iPad and a Mac, and I have a Windows PC. I was wondering if, with only one license, we could use the software at the same time? We wanted to follow tutorials together and try to learn at the same time, but that would mean using the same license at the same time on 2 different devices... I know I can install it on all the devices of my home, but what about simultaneous usage?

Thank you,

Best,

HI @flouz, welcome to the Affinity forum.

With the Universal Licence you can install the apps on all compatible devices within your home and used simultaneously by yourself and your family members.

Yes, it would apply with the Designer license, too. You can use it on multiple devices, but only you can use it for commercial purposes.
