On Win 11 my latest installed versions of Publisher and Designer 2.3.1 do not show "Open Recent" files. Photo 2.3.1 works.

Is there a setting somewhere, I miss?

And I don't have any problems with them on Win 11.

@mthorner: No, there's no setting. But please clarify what you mean. I wonder, for example, if you're talking about within the application or popups from a Taskbar icon?

If it's from the Taskbar icon, my guess would be that you have the EXE/MSI version of Photo installed, but the MSIX version of Publisher and Designer, which is not a good configuration to use.

Yes, I am referring to the simple File-Open Recent. Today, I uninstalled all three apps and reinstalled their fresh MSIX 2.3.1 versions. Same strange behavior: In Photo the File-Open Recent works, while in Publisher and Designer it doesn't. By the way, both Publisher and Designer do not switch language either. I have the feeling, that both apps reset everything to their default and do no longer work with stored settings.

Could eventually my parallel Photo Beta 2.4 installation be the issue? I cannot delete it, because I already edited several images with it, and there seems to be not backward compatibility.

I don't think so. Betas are installed as separete apps.

If I were you, I would uninstall the MSIX versions and try the EXE/MSI versions.

I don't understand what you mean there. What language do you have specified in the application Settings, General (at the bottom)?

YES, it worked.

Thank you bbrother.

I uninstalled everything from Affinity on my machine and deleted all folders with this name. Installing the three EXE worked.
