pioneer Posted December 29, 2023 Posted December 29, 2023 Is it possible to have a dropped cap align centred with my text. I can only seem to get things to work with a left align text Quote AMD Ryzen 7 5800 X. Oufti Posted December 29, 2023 Posted December 29, 2023 It does not seem to be possible out of the box. You could: Cut your drop cap Paste it out of your text frame, so that it creates a new text frame. Resize the new frame Place it where you want Pin it to the main text Apply text wrapping — Note that you will probably have to tweak the right or left alignment of the 1st paragraph in order to have all paragraphs centred Quote Affinity Suite 2.5 – Monterey 12.7.5 – MacBookPro 14" 2021 M1 Pro 16Go/1To I apologise for any approximations in my English. thomaso Posted December 30, 2023 Posted December 30, 2023 You can use a workaround with an Initial Words setting + a character style as demonstrated by @Old Bruce: Quote macOS 10.14.6 | MacBookPro Retina 15" | Eizo 27" | Affinity V1
