[Designer 2.3.0] Cannot edit / rename / delete colour swatches on 2nd document palette

Recommended Posts

Right clicking a swatch created on any document palette created after the first one will no longer have the Edit, Rename and Delete menu entries active. See the image below:

image.png.7cc058468ee23e364f3e6074d8e648e2.png

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Create a new document
  2. Create a new document palette, name it 1 for easy reference
  3. Create a new global swatch, make it spot to enable the Rename Spot menu too
  4. Right click the newly created swatch
  5. See that you can edit, rename and delete this swatch
  6. Create a new document palette, name it 2 for easy reference
  7. Create a new spot global swatch
  8. Right click this new swatch, notice the disabled menu items
  9. Creating further palettes and swatches
  10. Notice the problem continues

Thanks!

Thanks for the recipe.

Sounds like it might be the same problem mentioned by another user here:

The issue "Can't edit colours in second document palette" (REF: AF-1545) has been fixed by the developers in internal build "2.3.1.2212".
This fix should soon be available as a customer beta and is planned for inclusion in the next customer release.
Customer beta builds are announced here and you can participate by following these instructions.
If you still experience this problem once you are using that build version (or later) please reply to this thread including @Serif Info Bot to notify us.
