Yesterday updated to Photo 2.3 on OSX Sonoma. There is no ruler on the top, only on the left side. So there is no way to drag guide from top.image.thumb.png.2b00b6982107d64a61611e26b6916b7e.png

Welcome to the Serif Affinity forums.

This has been reported on iPad when Stage Manager is active. Perhaps it's also a problem with macOS?

According to the FAQ, Stage Manager isn't supported by the Affinity applications yet

The application window is off the display bounds so that the toolbar etc. is hidden behind the menu bar. This is a known issue with Affinity apps, particularly if you're using an external display with a MacBook or similar.

The fix is usually pretty easy: Window menu → Zoom

The issue "[macOS] App Window Disappears after disconnecting and re-connecting an external monitor between app sessions" (REF: AF-417) has been fixed by the developers in internal build "2.4.0.2211".
This fix should soon be available as a customer beta and is planned for inclusion in the next customer release.
Customer beta builds are announced here and you can participate by following these instructions.
