TEWilk
Update 2.3.0.2139 Windows Pack short notes feature makes footnotes appear on top of each other Note position: Bottom of Column Min gap before 3 pt Gap between 0 pt Initial advances Leading Min advance 11 pt Allow split notes, either on or off Some of the footnotes appear on top of each other. Seems also to corrupt memory, as after running I have Windows explorer memory access errors and runtime errors never seen before. Version 2.2.1 does not have this problem. Hangman
Hi @TEWilk, Could you upload a sample document demonstrating the issue you're seeing with 'Pack short notes' appearing on top of each other so we can take a look at what may be causing the issue... TEWilk
File that exhibits the footnotes appearing on top of each other. This is made with Affinity Publisher 2.2.1, Windows 11 Font is Adobe Minion Pro When loaded with the latest Beta it exhibit the problem. There is already another, probably unrelated, footnote problem in version 2.2.1 There used to be a footnote between note 16 and the present 17, on top of page 9, right after deducido". This footnote made all the footnotes on page 8, that is 12 through 16 disappear, although the space they take up was still there and left blank. Hangman
Hi @TEWilk, This appears to be a new bug in the 2.3.0.2139 (Beta) relating to Note Positioning when there are individual multi-line Footnotes. It's not specific to your document, I'm seeing the same behaviour with a new document as well... There are still quite a few issues with Notes, certainly with disappearing Packed Footnotes as referenced in this thread... Someone from the Moderation team will hopefully log this accordingly...
