CraigK
I'm looking for a way to get a painted on wood effect that retains the texture of the wood so it looks realistic. Is there a way to do that in Affinity Photo? There are a couple ways to do it in Photoshop, including using displacement maps, but I haven't found any tuts using Affinity Photo for this effect. Thanks. Craig

Thanks. Use the Displacement Filter in Affinity Photo. Either the Live Filter or the destructive filter Filters > Distort > Displace CraigK 1 Quote Mac Pro (Late 2013) Mac OS 12.7.4 Affinity Designer 2.4.1 | Affinity Photo 2.4.1 | Affinity Publisher 2.4.1 | Beta versions as they appear.
