Wrapping text around an image eg: a tin

Recommended Posts

I'm struggling to find the right tools to use for wrapping text around a tin.  This is a great example of 3 different types of text on a tin

The example I most want to replicate and don't know how to start are the words FURNITURE PAINT.  Where the F and the E of furniture look like are going around the tin.

Can anyone help?  Is it morph or ???

Thank you

If the label design is vector-based and you want to keep it as vectors then Designer’s Warp Group will be useful.

On the other hand, if the label design is pixel-based then Photo’s various Warp functionalities – Mesh Warp Tool, Mesh Warp Live Filter, etc. – will be useful.

Note: Photo’s Mesh Warp Live Filter is also available in Designer’s Pixel Persona.

Are they groups inside of this forum you are referring to?

Warp Group is a functionality of Designer – via menu “Layer → Warp Group”, or an icon at the bottom of the Layers Panel.

Just type warp group into Designer’s Help to get more information.

You might be lucky finding a tutorial but this functionality hasn’t been in Designer for very long so there may not be lots to choose from.
There’s probably an official video about it https://affinity.serif.com/en-gb/learn/ but I don’t know if it will show you exactly what you want to do.
