Nigelum Posted October 23, 2023 Posted October 23, 2023 Hello. I'm enjoying the Affinity suite, especially Designer. I would love to see an animation tool for designer where you can make videos of your work that had tweening so the finished video could be smooth. I know you can export your work into another animation software, but the problem is that any 3D effects (or any effects) would be lost as the final image would be rasterized (except when you export in .SVG). There are ways of "Frankensteining" things together, but the results are not good, and it's far more work. I did the attached file by importing 41 exported .PNG images into Quicktime Player. Took a lot of time and complex image movement would be out of the question. Just a suggestion. MichaelBTryin 1 Quote
retrograde Posted October 24, 2023 Posted October 24, 2023 Yes it would be awesome if serif came out with some kind of animation app or an animation component of Designer or Photo, but not likely as it's been requested for literally years now. I found a cheap vector animation app called Keyshape that comes close to what you're looking for I think. It's a vector based app, and mac only at the moment on the app store. https://www.keyshapeapp.com/ Quote http://www.kevincreative.com https://www.behance.net/kevincreative https://dribbble.com/kevincreative https://www.instagram.com/kevincreative/
2ddpainter Posted October 24, 2023 Posted October 24, 2023 @Nigelum Hi In case you dont know there is vector graphics animation program called “Cavalry” (Mac/PC). There is also a free version, you just need to create an account. Instead of saving the results, they need to be rendered. You can also export an SVG file (also via rendered).
