Affinity Publisher 2.2.1 Books font replace

Recommended Posts

Hello, i have a BIG book, like 50+ chapters, a lot of styles and custom font replacement.
I had one font, that was replaced by similar, with different name.

Now. I dont want to open each chapter and jump in Font manager by "Locate" and replace one by one occurance.

Is there any intelligent solution like - replace font document-wide ? or ideally book-wide? Please tell me there is and i simply missed it :) or i will die by clicking...

Thank you :)

Ideally you will have created your text using Text Styles, and assigned the font within your Text Styles.

In that case, you just update it once in the Text Styles that specified it. With a document that uses the Book feature, with individual chapter files, you can update the Text Style in the Source chapter, and synchronize it to the other chapters. For more information on that, you might see @MikeTO's manual, which you can find here:

If you did not use Text Styles, you will have to use Find and Replace, in each book chapter, to make the replacement. Find and Replace allows you to specify a Format for the text you're finding (such as a font name and characteristics) and then specify a different one as a replacement. So, with one operation per chapter you would be able to do the replacement.
