cbordey
Hello, I've been working on this project on an Intel MacBook Pro for several months with no issues. I recently got an M1 MacBook PRO, downloaded the latest version of Publisher 1, and now I can't seem to save my file now. It freezes when saving. Is there something that can be causing this? The same file was working fine with my previous laptop.
MikeTO
Where are you trying to save the file, to your Documents folder, Desktop folder, or somewhere else? Is that folder synced to iCloud? Are you able to create a new document and save it to the same location or is it just specific files? Also, open macOS System Settings and click Privacy & Security in the left pane. Choose Files and Folders and then expand Affinity Publisher. Is access to the appropriate folder enabled? You would be prompted the first time you try to save to one of these folders but if you declined it while getting going with your new laptop, something that is easy to do, you have to go to settings to enable access. Good luck cbordey 1 Quote Download a free PDF manual for Affinity Publisher 2.5 Download a quick reference chart for Affinity's Special Characters Affinity 2.5 for macOS Sequoia 15.1, MacBook Pro 14" (M4 Pro)

cbordey
Disregard I was able to get it working. It was an iCloud Drive sync setting that I needed to turn on. Thanks for your help! MikeTO and Dan C 1
DEWLine
I seem to be having a similar issue with Designer in 1.10.6 on MacOS 10.15.7. Not using iCloud for anything here, so I'm not sure what's happening.
