D.VE Posted October 10, 2023 Posted October 10, 2023 I often want to compare two different versions of a shape in two layers. Is there a way to do that with one keyboard shortcut without having to perform three actions (hide layer => show other layer => press spacebare to hide bounding boxes)? -thx Dave Quote
loukash Posted October 10, 2023 Posted October 10, 2023 For example: affinity.help/designer2/pages/DesignAids/snapshot.html Quote MacBookAir 15": MacOS Ventura > Affinity v1, v2, v2 beta // MacBookPro 15" mid-2012: MacOS El Capitan > Affinity v1 / MacOS Catalina > Affinity v1, v2, v2 beta // iPad 8th: iPadOS 16 > Affinity v2

Unfortunately I'm not aware of any singular keyboard shortcut that would allow for this at this time, my apologies. I'll move this thread to the Feedback section of the forums to be considered for a future update Quote
fde101 Posted October 11, 2023 Posted October 11, 2023 You can combine the first two steps using a third-party macro utility (such as Keyboard Maestro on the Mac). The tricky part is that the spacebar would need to be held down if I correctly understand the request. If you deselect the items instead, then the entire request could be handled using that technique. Quote
