Paul W.
Hi, I'm running Affinity Designer on my 2 Mac and would like to see assets created on one Mac to appear in the library assets of the other Mac, and vice versa. Can't find a way to do that. Thanks for you help.
walt.farrell
Welcome to the Serif Affinity forums. It's not possible. The installed Assets are in a file local to the machine. You can transport an Asset category between machines, and install on both that way, but after that they can become out-of-synch as changed are made. (Asset panel burger menu -> "Embed in current document"). Alternatively you can use an Affinity document that contains the wanted elements without using the Asset panel. This would have the advantage that all object types and file formats can be used, including those that are not allowed as assets (e.g. PDF, EPS, Affinity documents). Furthermore with an Affinity document as 'library' you may use placed objects as linked (not embedded) and thus increase the flexibility for synchronization after edits done to the items – while an asset does not contain linked items and can not get edited but replaced only. walt.farrell 1 Quote macOS 10.14.6 | MacBookPro Retina 15" | Eizo 27" | Affinity V1
