Guenter Diel
Is there an easy way to load/add master pages from another document?
Staff NathanC Posted September 14, 2023 Staff Share Posted September 14, 2023 Hi @Guenter Diel, If the master pages in your document are actively applied, you could use the Document > add pages from file function, this will then import the master pages in but also the regular pages that have the master applied, but these can be deleted thereafter. Guenter Diel
Thank you for the answer. Yes, I was aware of that. But it can be quite a hassle to first find the relevant pages, note down the numbers, etc. I was hoping for a simple command like "Import Masterpages". Thanks a lot anyway! If you're importing several masters and can't remember which pages they're used on, open the source document, add a new page at the end of the document, apply all of the masters you want to that page (don't replace existing when applying an additional master), and then save it under a temporary file name. Then you can just add that last page using Add Pages from File.
